SORE THROAT Respiratory Relief & Antiviral, Antimicrobial Protection:

The immune-building, antiviral essential oils and blends in this category help to protect against flu, respiratory and other antibiotic-resistant viruses. Respiratory infection fighters in this category can be inhaled (diffuser, spritzer, hot water inhalation) and diluted for topical application (90% carrier with 10% essential oils). Also, one or two drops can be taken in the cheek, under the tongue, in a glass of water or spoon of honey. 

Most important influenza-fighting oils are Oregano, Ravensara with Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Bergamot, Cinnamon Leaf, Clove, Rosemary, Red Thyme, Melissa, Star Anise, and Lemon. For topical applications of antiviral oils & blends, we suggest Olive Oil, Jojoba, Black Cumin, or Camelina sativa seed oil,  which works well in a 90%-10% dilution with any of the above essential oil combinations.
