The most effective means of applying the oils for physical benefits (hormonal and metabolic support) is anointing: direct application on the neck, throat and pressure points — either undiluted or diluted in nutritious cream or carrier oil as perfume and for massage & baths.

Emotional benefits are obtained by breathing the oils, either directly from the bottle, worn on aroma jewelry, or sprayed into the environment with an air diffuser or spritzer bottle. Use of an air diffuser distributes minute amounts of the essential oils throughout the environment, helping create a clean, fresh atmosphere while providing emotional benefits. If an air diffuser is not available, a water spritzer bottle may be used (30 drops essential oils per ounce of water, aloe liquid or witch hazel), or a few drops can be inhaled from a handkerchief, cotton ball, or worn all day on a terra cotta bead bracelet.

Massage friction applications & soaking baths (diluted in carrier oil or cream), or anointing with a few drops on pressure points (back of neck, carotid arteries, thymus and bottoms of feet) create a calming and rejuvenating effect, as the skin is permeable, and the oils provide precious nourishment when applied to the body.
